The customer server is the Baode server with the capacity: 73G.A total of 3 hard disk arrays level: RAID5 operating system is: Windows Server 2000 database: DB2 failure: the first 3rd hard disk reported an error in the RAID card, the administrator replaced a new hard disk, but the new hard disk could not be ready in the RAID card, the new hard disk cannot be ready.Then the administrator replaced the hard disk position and changed multiple combinations, which were invalid.Finally, the RAID information was empty, and a new set of RAID5 was built. The system still cannot start.After that, I did not do other operations.
Solution:
Receive all hard disks to the special mirror environment, all hard disks of the mirror, analyze and calculate with the hard disk No. 1 and 2, and obtain the main parameters of this RAID5, and reorganize RAID through the special tool to successfully restore all data.Customers require the original operating system to start, and after 1 hour of hard work, engineers successfully fix the operating system.
