IBM Disk Array Data Recovery

Case:
The customer stored as the IBM EXP300 disk array cabinet, with a total of 8 hard disks on it, and made two groups of RAID5, which received 2 servers. The hard disk is the SCSI interface with a capacity of 36G.It has been about ten years.Customers say that there are 2 hard disks on each group of arrays to report an error. This partition cannot be found on the server.

Solution:
We tested all the hard disks and found that the No. 2 hard disk had been completely damaged and could not be repaired. The hard disk 3, 4, 6 had a bad sector, and made the physical mirror of other hard disks.Start analyzing the original RAID5 parameter, the first group of RAID5, recovering all data with three hard disks with three hard disks. The second group of RAID5 reorganized with four disks to restore all data.
