How to format a Samsung external drive with a FAT32 partition larger than 32 GB using Samsung Format Utility?
The Samsung Format Utility is a program specifically designed for Samsung external drives.
It can format the drive using either the NTFS or FAT32 file system.

- Step 1: Download and launch the Samsung Format Utility;
- Step 2: Select Samsung External Hard Drive for Device and the desired drive for Drive To format and FAT 32 for the File System;
- Step 3: Input a Volume Label and click the Start button;
Note: Using the Samsung Format Utility will erase all data on the external drive. Ensure you have backed up all data from the external drive before running this utility.
