After HP server hard disks are formed into RAID5, the alarm recovers successfully

Case:
Customer describes the RAID5 made by 6 SCSI 300G hard disks of HP arrays. There is a plate of disk, pulling it back and inserting it back to the indicator light to become a normal green light. The hard disk of the array can no longer be recognized. There is an important system on the storage, and the departments below cannot submit the data up.

Solution:
The engineer received the six SCSI hard disks on a PC Server in a single disk and found that a hard disk could not be identified. Further detection and found that the hard disk magnetic head was damaged.Five hard disks that can be recognized use the mirroring tool by Disk Image to complete the hard disk backup to the newly prepared security storage; during the backup process, a small hard disk is found to have a small number of bad disks, and it does not affect the data tracking in the bad sectors.Analyze RAID information through the structural characteristics of the file system, remove the bad hard disk, and build a virtual RAID environment. The discovered files include the latest SQL Server database file, exported and attached to the SQL environment, and there is no error error in database DBCC detection. The hard disk that can judge the damage to the magnetic head is an early -line hard disk. Then introduce all data into the newly prepared storage of customers, it is completely normal, and there is no problem with client access.
