LINUXEXT3 file system initialization data recovery

Case:
The user introduced that a hard disk was used under Linux, divided into the EXT3 file system, and initialized the hard disk under Linux, resulting in data loss and getting data recovery from our company.

Solution:
According to conventional thinking, the hard disk is initialized under Windows, and only the data of the 0 -sector of the hard disk, which is the data of the MBR, should not be damaged. After analysis of the underlying data of the hard disk, it is found that the data damage is relatively large, and the data in front of the hard disk is empty. It seems that this case is not as simple as the user described as initialization, and there may be other operations.Because the front part of the hard disk was destroyed, the partition super block information was destroyed. We analyzed it by hand, and finally fictional partition information (superblock and group description information), restored all the normal data in EXT3 partitions, and finally handed over the data to the customer for verification. The effect is okay, all important data of customers are normal and have not been destroyed.
