“The hard disk drive” is a device that every computer has. Our huge data is stored in it. Why is it able to store so much data? What exactly does it contain? Does everyone have such a question? Open Hard Drive Tool:
- Hexagon screwdriver;
Open Hard Drive Steps:
1. First of all, let’s remove the front metal shell. Remove the six screws marked in the red circle below.
If you feel that you have taken the six screws and you can unload the shell, you are wrong. There is a screw hidden under the label. As shown below. Remove this screw too.
With a screwdriver, the shell is removed.
2. Turn the hard drive to the back, remove the four screws as shown, unplug the cable, and remove the circuit board.
After removing the circuit board, you can see a piece of brown tape, remove it, and expose the three screws below.
Remove the three screws as shown in the red circle below.
3. Go to the front to remove these two screws. Note that the two screws are smaller than the previous one, and the corresponding screwdriver we use should be replaced by the smaller one.
4. Then, you can remove the actuator and the head together.
5. Remove the three screws marked with the red circle below.
The disc platter is removed.
6. Finished.
Things you should know:
When the hard drive is completely opened as above, the hard disk can no longer be used, so if you want to try it yourself, please find a discarded hard disk.
